Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Please visit our Facebook

Phone calls placed to our office between 11:30-1:30 and after 4:30 pm are transferred to our
answering service. However, if your call is urgent, the answering service will contact our office. When calling
our office, please tell the patient coordinator the nature of your call so that we can direct you to the appropriate
person. Medical question calls are transcribed as messages to our clinical staff during clinic hours. Please be
sure to give current information to the coordinator as well as a good call back number. A clinical staff member will review
your request and return your call. Please note that multiple calls regarding the same matter may only delay
Should an emergency arise after office hours, on weekends or during holidays, please call (706)548-6881. The
answering service will reach the on-call health professional to return your call and assist in answering your
medical questions. Please note that test results and medication refills are not considered an after-hours
All patients are scheduled by appointment only. Although we make every effort to honor your appointment
time, we hope you understand emergencies arise. If there are delays, we will inform you as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so as far in advance as possible. Each of our
physicians is scheduled a limited time in the office each week to accommodate surgery days.
If you are a new patient coming into our Athens office, please be sure to arrive 30 minutes early to allow for
completion of registration.
If you are a new patient visiting one of our satellite locations, we will mail you a new patient package containing
pre-registration forms if time permits. Please bring the completed forms with you for your appointment. Please
arrive approximately 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to register.
Please be sure to bring all medical records relating to your medical condition, x-ray films on disc, reports and all
current medications including vitamin supplements.

Please ask our front office staff to sign you up for our patient portal. We will need a valid email address. With
portal access, you will be able to send questions to our clinical staff via secure messaging. You may also request
appointments, medical records and medication refills.
